Hi,

If you guys could give me some recommendations for good doom metal albums, particularly ones put out between say, 94 and 2000, I would really appreciate it. Really heavy melodic stuff basically

In The Battlefield - Doomsword (2003)  
According to [The Map of Medal](http://mapofmetal.com/), these are the two that fall into your time frame.

[Katatonia](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZK9o1lyv_k) set a high bar for droning, depressive doom. Other bands that also peaked for a bit in the '90s before taking a more commercial direction: Therion, Amorphis, Mental Home, Paradise Lost, Sentenced.

Electric Wizard - Dopethrone (2000) and Come My Fanatics… (1997). Both are considered landmark albums of the doom metal genre.
