So here I am. It’s 6AM on a Saturday and I’m posting. I just had this freak-a-zoid dream that I met many of you at a Dopefest at a highway rest stop down south someplace. But the inside of the rest stop was a combination of my grandparents old depression-era apartment from Chicago and a pals run down college apartment in Frostburg. And now I can’t sleep. So I’m getting some work done at 6AM. On a Saturday. ---

On the up side, I just got back from stocking up on the wine. 3 Bottles of Mead 2 Bottles of Raspberry Wine 1 Bottle of Plum Wine 1 Bottle of Blackberry Wine 1 Bottle of Dandelion Wine And we already have some Blueberry Wine and Sweet Evangeline Wine. Who wants a drink! ---

Hey! No bragging about getting the old mid-30s guy excited! I don’t think my heart could take it! Elderberry wine? Only the **French** know the smell of **elderberry** wine! But, I admit, I love non-grape based wines. And I am now taking suggestions for what beer I should pick up. Can the dopers beat the 87 bottles of beer consumed at the Spring party? Or will they fall short on the frozen tundra of Short Hill Mountain? ---

The ride will be difficult, as my sister will be back that weekend (I think) but I will keep begging and suchlike to be allowed to drive there. When I get the car I will invite people to ride with me, but I ain’t offerin’ rides I don’t have:) **phantomdiver** has already abstained (courteously\*) from this one, as she doesn’t do social events unless they’re essentially required, and I am not about to subject the Teeming Millions to the puzzle that is **alloran**. ---

Hmm . . . trying for a drinking record? All you need to do is get **Weirddave** four hours alone with a room of beer and a couple of like-minded dopers and he can drink. And drink. And drink. So…the plot thickens. I’ve been asked if I minded a Doper using the Chance Estate kitchen for a cheesesteak challenge. But when I replied to said Doper the email bounced. Am I the victim of cheesesteak fraud? Does the Attorney General track this sort of crime? And no, I don’t mind. Bring it on. ---
