What? Everyone sleeping in late so they’re well-rested? Where is everyone? ---

For God’s sake, man, it’s Saturday! Normal people sleep in on the weekends. ---

And we’re normal… **how** exactly? A last warning, especially to a certain Doper who’s cautioned me that his or her costume is somewhat minimal. It’s cold up the mountain today. Dress warmly. You’ll need it. ---

I have a coat, but if need be, I will count on the gallant Dopermen to help keep me warm. ---

Silly, everything’s about me. 😃 Actually, I took it as more of a general sort of FYI, though my costume is also rather revealing. ---

I’m ready! I’ve been ready since 3 a.m., when my costume was in its final stages. 😃 (insert image here of **moi** with smelly, recently dyed hair, wearing wings and about 2/3 of a costume, fingertips covered in glitter, looking at **tdc** with a pouty face, saying, “But I wanna go to Virginia now!”) See y’all soon! _scampers off to drag **tdc** bodily from bed_ ---

And I just saw **Airman Doors** in Hillsboro. But he didn’t see me. I was driving past, having gone down to Paeonian Springs to pick up some more pumpkins for the porch and who pray tell was running around the hamlet of Hillsboro with a bag in his hands? **AD** , that’s who. Dopers close in on Hillsboro! ---

I just wanna say that every one of you drinkin’ dopers better have a drink for me! And keep a good account of the festivities for me, too. :kicks self for not being able to make this one… for about the thousandth time this morning: ---

Okay, I am in costume, and **Jonathan** , just for you I am coming in somewhat warmer attire so’s I don’t get pulled over for driving in boxers (all will be revealed [sub]but not THAT![/sub]…). However, I will at some point get down to my actual costume. So if you see a guy putting a bag over his head, that’s me. [sub]Good LORD am I going to get jokes about that.[/sub] ---

**Anniz** is resting up right now, and shortly we’re going to be getting into costume. I hope someone is bringing a VCR, because we’ll have the wedding videotape with us! See everyone in an hour or two! ---

Well, **BF** and I just got back from Dope-A-Ween. Thanks to **Jonathan Chance** for throwing a splendiferous Halloween shindig (That mead was warm and sweet, just like our host :D) Thanks to **Lucretia** and **Geobabe** for grabbing my ass and making me feel all warm and schnuggly. It was the best Halloween party ever! ---

**gobear** , I’m glad we finally got that groping thing out of the way. I feel better now. My take for the evening: $4.50. The change was courtesy of **RTFirefly**. The highlight: **Bluesman** eating an M&M out of my cleavage. ---

I’m heading off to bed right now and way too tired to post coherently, but I made it home safely (thanks to Weirddave!) and I had a great time. It was absolutely wonderful meeting (or re-meeting, as the case may be) all of you, and a million thanks to Jonathan Chance and Mrs. Chance for hosting this shindig. I’ll definitely post more tomorrow! ---

Hi, guys. This is iampunha’s mom. It’s almost 5 am, even considering that we set the clocks back an hour to end Daylight Savings Time, and there’s no sign of iampunha. Does anybody know where he is? Sleeping it off at the Chances’, maybe? Unfortunately I have a really good imagination. I hate to think where he might be . . . ---

Yes, he’s here. He elected to stay the night here rather than drive home tired. Hope that’s no trouble. Sorry you were worried. Currently, he’s snoring as only a 20-year old can. ---

**gobear** , more than pleased to oblige, I’m sure! **Bluesman** , the **Lucrectiettes** , and I had a wonderful time, **Jonathan** , just like we did last time, and thank you and **Lady Chance** for a really huge party. And **Geobabe** , **Bluesman** very much enjoyed his little foray into your cleavage, and eventually, I did too!😃 [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/dope-a-ween-dc-md-va-pa-de-10-27-01/76061.md?page=16) [Next page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/dope-a-ween-dc-md-va-pa-de-10-27-01/76061.md?page=18)
