Complete with four-pronged (so to speak) udder (which earned jokes from me, at least, at the thought of a quadriphallic human) and a little head thingy. All during the dopefest (well, the first five or so hours) **moi** had been trying her ass off figuring out who was “a dope” (as one of JC’s friends put it) and who was not. And I and a few others helped her out with this: **moi** : “So the dead guy was a doper.” **various other dopers** : “Yes.” **moi** : “But the cow is not a doper.” **various other dopers** : “No.” ::we sense a song coming on here:: **moi** , **punha** and **cat** (and I think **Zappo as well** ) start out in song: "The cow is not a doper. ::other dopers slowly join in:: "The Cow is not a doper! ::nearly entire room is singing by this point:: "HI-ho the derry (or merry, depending on which version you sang)-o! ::whole room. Duh:: “The cow is not a doper!!!” So, um, yeah:D ---

Omigod, how to start. First off, mad props to the **Chances** for a Fantabulous evening. And no, **JC** you didn’t scare me at 5 a.m. You might have, if more than 2 brain cells were awake, but they had a quick conference and decided it was OK. I too am sad we didn’t get to say goodbye, but I look forward to the next time. **Zappo** , was great meeting (and singing with) you. Stop by our neck of the woods anytime. **Nacho4Sara** Somehow I missed getting to talk to you much, I promise to bend your ear next time. **Weirddave** Thanks for introducing yourself when we first arrived, you made us feel welcome and set us up for a great night. **Airman Doors** I’m the only one who beleives you, but you did get the last peg in Perfection before it blew up. Of course, **John Corrado** did it with more style. **RTFirefly** It was worth every minute of the drive. Thanks for being so darn cheerful. Thanks to **JC, iampunha and bouv** for burning the midnight oil with us and helping us make the the most out of our first Dopefest. **'punha** you rock too. And thanks to **JC** for having the two best behaved and great dogs I’ve met in a long time. I see a greyhound or two in my future. And **Gobear** it was great to meet you and Matt. (the cow who was not a Doper. :)) And everybody else, thanks for making our first Dopefest so great. Also, who ever brought the pumpkin ale, that stuff is great! Huzzzah! ---

_sigh_ I unfortunately was unable to make it to the party, due to a need to study, and a car that is making _two_ funny noises in _one_ wheel-well. After reading everyone’s posts I am definitely sorry I missed it. Any other Dope-fests coming up in this area anytime soon? ---

I finally got in about 11. I told **Airman** that I’d check in before I went to sleep. **Jonathan and Lady Chance** , thank you for the excellent hospitality. This was the best party I’ve been to in God knows how long. **Zappo** , thank you for the munchies. They are much appreciated! ::MsRobyn goes face-first into the pretzels:: It’s always nice to see old friends, and meet new ones. I had a great time this weekend, and am certainly glad I came. And, yes, I certainly plan on eating **Airman** ’s cheesesteaks for years to come. 🙂 Robin ---
