Man, and I thought this thread was done. I’m really glad to see people are still interested in the party after everything that’s happened. There’s a Days Inn in Leesburg and a few B&Bs for people who like that sort of thing. And **Montfort** and **Anniz** are getting married this weekend. I think we should all do something to commemorate that fact when they come (as they said they will) to the Halloween party! Who’s with me here? ---

Last weekend we were checking out the Lakeforest Mall, across the street from our new apartment (we’re moving the weekend before your party) and we wandered into the Halloween costume store there. I saw a perfect costume for **Anniz** , but she was a bit shy about being a Perky Viking. 😉 ---

Saturday, October 27th happens to be the second anniversary of my marriage to **Valkyrie**. Personally, I am of the opinion that getting really really smashed and making a total ass of myself would be a fine way to celebrate, but that’s probably not going to fly. On the other hand, a party may just be what the doctor ordered 'round about then. Will get back to you on that but put three of us down as provisionals - me, **Val** , and the Tzeroling. ---

OK, here’s some hotel information. Not recco’s here. Just what hotels are reasonably close to the palatial (and soon to have a new steel roof!) Chance estate. Here’s some hotel info: Leesburg: Days Inn Leesburg 703-777-6622 (About 15 miles from the house) Catoctin House B&B 800-851-3305 (About 2 miles from the house) Catoctin House is set right in the tiny lovely town of Hillsboro. And they ain’t too expensive. Dope-A-Ween, eh? Well, I would love to go, but I definitly lack a way to get there. (same problem as with the Vermont Dopefest.) Well, while we look to Washington/Baltimore (and that’s the proper order for that) we’re one hell of a long way out in the sticks.
