JC, just to make sure, that Virginia address is the one I’m aiming for, right? I have a phobia about not knowing where I’m driving. I worship at the explicit directions of Mapquest alter. ---

Yes, it’s the VA address. Was there some other on the site? I must speak with Lady Chance about this. It’s pretty straightforward to get here. If mapquest says anything other than (presuming you’re coming from VA) go up Route 7 from Leesburg and head north on Route 9 then you should turn your back on them. ---

Trust his ‘directions from Baltimore’. They work. I’ll add one note, though: the part that says “After the bridge turn left”? That’s **immediately** after the bridge. Don’t blink. 🙂 ---

True enough. But the valley isn’t really wide enough at Loudoun Heights to wait very long after the bridge. Hey, at least there’s a gas station. What more could anyone ask? Wooo!!! I have received my official invite! I can say with absolute certainty that the odds of my attending Dope-A-Ween have just gone to 100% I went to Hobby yesterday and bought my plane ticket, and my boss approved a half-day off so I don’t have to land at midnight. Shoot, I forgot to ask, will it be best to get a bus to DC, or Baltimore? And since I don’t want to spend a weekend at the bus-station, is there any way of convincing a doper to pick me up there? I would be eternally grateful. ---

Assuming I have an functioning car by then, I can give rides from NoVa. **bouv** , if you can get yourself onto the Metro, I can pick ya up at one of the stations, Vienna being the closest to where I live. ---

Hotel info, eh? Try these: Days Inn Leesburg 703-777-6622 (About 15 miles from the house) Catoctin House B&B 800-851-3305 (About 2 miles from the house) Catoctin House is set right in the tiny lovely town of Hillsboro. And that’s heaven. That should get you there. ---
