It’s been a while since I hosted a dopefest, I have had all the broken furnature from the last one replaced, and I _think_ my landlord has forgotten what y’all look like, so I prolly won’t get immediately evicted when you show up, so what the hell. Date: Saturday, December 15th, 2001 Location: Casa de Dave Time: I dunno, 4-5:00 sound good? Activities: Blind gift exchange, Dinner( enough people respond, I’ll cook a turkey or ham), Drinks, Fellowship. Anyone who is interested should bring a present, under $10, please, and then everyone who brought a gift can pick a present from the pile. What say you, Mid-Atlantic Dopers? Anyone from Philly who wants to come down is more than welcome, I live north of Baltimore, so it’s actually not that far for you folks. The train from NYC stops 1 1/2 miles from my house if anyone wants to come down from Gotham as well. ---

Gosh . . . two dopefests on two consecutive weekends. Somewhere around eight hours of driving. I honestly dunno. I _think_ exams will be over by that point. I do not know for sure yet because we haven’t gotten around to discussing them in any of my classes. I’ll let you know later on:) ---

What about the 29th? I’m OK for the 15th, but **Spritle** needs to come to more Dopefests. I’ll even bring the M&Ms. ---

I bet you’ll all just sit around eating stale chips and listening to Eddie Rabbit’s Greatest Hits until somebody has the nerve to play something by Air Supply in the hopes that some dancing will happen, but of course everyone will just look at each other sheepishly and uncomfortably until the song is over and then somebody will turn to Dave and ask, “Do you have any more chips?” _sigh_ ☹ ---

A spanking! A spanking! Lessee, we take **Lucretia** ’s age (29; she was a child bride), and divide by the number of attendees who want to spank her (me, _me!_ :D), to see how many swats each of us gets to give her. **Bluesman** gets to administer any extras. Right now, I’m still trying to figure out if I can make it to the NYC fest; if I go to another Dopefest the weekend before, I’m probably out for NYC, things at home being as complicated as they are these days. So I’d prefer the 15th. (Sorry, **Spritle**.) ---

So now the next question is, how many people are interested in yet another Dopefest for **Lucretia** ’s birthday on the 29th? Hell, I’m a Dopefest ho, I could go to one every damn weekend if they’d let me out of the institution more often. ---
