We finally have reliable transportation again! I’ll try to make it up there this year, and drag the SO along if she won’t let me drive myself. She’d be more willing to come along if you can save her a drumstick. 😉 We’ll bring anything you want, just not alcohol. ---

You told me no desserts which kills much of my cooking repertoire but I might be able to throw a few loaves of bread together if I get home from Voicenet’s party at a decent enough hour. I could probably grab a case 'o beer as well if there’s not too much coming already. ---

Wayne, bring a dessert if you like - but there are already a few coming. Maybe just pick up a couple of dozen rolls. By the way, this party goes on DESPITE WEATHER. Snow does not stop a Canadian from throwing a party. ---

Wow, i’ve been gone a long time, had to remember how to quote… Anyway, Rolls I can manage no matter what, homemade bread I may be able to do as well/instead. Either way the Merosmobile v.4 will be bring bread (and maybe a passenger, she hasn’t let me know yet) ---

Malt soda can also be stored at room temperature. The cooler will only be needed if I try to bring “bar cheese” or “cheese curd”. I’m also not sure which varieties of which brand to buy. I could go with a jar of assorted pickled mushrooms. But, what if nobody likes them? I could go with salo. People, you’re not helping. If I show up with something everybody hates, you only have yourselves to blame. I’d also like to avoid running around the store for a few hours as I ponder the hideous consequences of buying the wrong thing, or not buying enough of the right thing. Does anyone else like halvah? Turkish delight? A jar of gefilte fish? ---
