I took a month off work to study Spanish in Guanajuato Mexico, got back yesterday. I’m working the night shift Friday – don’t think I have enough time to switch things up, but will ask around. ---

D’oh. I just realized I have something else that night. Maybe it would have been good to check my calendar a little sooner? I would have liked to have come to a Dopefest, but it seems I’m already committed to a Chowhound chowdown. ---

Well, we survived. And it was good to see people, talk in a deafeningly-loud restaurant, and eat things that I’m still not sure what they are, but I’ll probably have them again. 🙂 Thanks to **Cerowun** for being such a good host/organiser/life of the party. I only wish more people had been able to be there. ---

Well, the fun people showed up - there’s probably at least one of our party who is being looked after by a slobbery St. Bernard right now.
