Iāve only known of two London Dopefests, one I went to and one I couldnāt because I was out of the country at the time. I might try and organise another one when I get back from New York, if only so **Quartz** can grovel to me in person for forgetting that Iām British, the swine!

Wow **Maastricht** , Iām so flattered! Iāve always thought you were uber sophisticated and have listened intently in the things you say. Itād be incredibly cool to be friends with someone who lives in the Netherlands. Iām very interested in learning about ways of life that seem a million light years from my own here in the US. There are many whom Iād like to just sit in the same room with and hope some of their intellect diffuses towards me simply because of the dizzying difference:
**Stranger** , **Chronos** , **WhyNot** , **Dung Beetle** , **John Mace** , **Bricker** , **Darwinās Finch** , **Blake** , **Una** , **Qadgop** just to name some off the top of my head.
People like **Alice** , **Skald** , **Voyager** , **Scylla** , **featherlou** and way too many others seem like theyād be really fun and interesting people to just hang out with.
In short, I find many of the people here enjoyable on many different levels.

Central/Western PA, not far from Punxsutawney.
I donāt get out much; most of the people I talk to are on City of Villains. I have met a few Dopers at Gettysdope and at a Pittsburgh fest; but my health is the big factor.
It was great meeting some of the more famous/infamous Dopers like **weirddave, Ginger of the North, Airman Doors, Ms.Robyn, Opal (Hi, Opal!), Doc Cathode, twickster, Siege, and polycarp**, among others. Sorry if I forgot to mention others who were there.
I just need to make more friends somehow.

Youāre all welcome here in Arizona during Spring Training or if you wish to see the greatness of the Arizona Diamondbacks in person. This includes **Rickjay** , **What Exit** , **Asimovian** , and everyone else who follows baseball in the monthly threads.

Wow, I was mentioned twice? I know Iāve made an impact here but I never really thought I would be the type of person most dopers would want to meet in person. One of the ways I use this board is as a venting ground and quite frankly the stuff Iāve revealed here combined with my posting style and demographic, well, it certainly doesnāt put me in a very good light.
As for myself, Iāve already met the coolest poster here in person, so everyone else is gonna have to resign themselves to second place š Some people Iād like to meet are **Qadgop, olivesmarch4th, Cervaise, Siam Sam, Kythereia, Der Trihs, HazelnutCoffee, lekat, alice\_in\_wonderland, silver tyger girl, Terrifel, and schmedly**. Yāall do know **schmedly** right?
