Thank you very much **salem** I got it this morning - mugs; a snow-globe and yank sweets. Bliss. Also a local paper from Old England - I’m afraid I’ve missed the bake sale but I’ve clipped the advert for snow plowing (sic). Thanks very much again. I will fight the mini-owls for the sweets. To the best of my knowledge, all mugs have been sent, all U.S.\<–\>U.S. mugs have been received, and everyone has received their mug except those listed below. Quite a few of these were sent late. I think we need to be patient just a little longer. **amarinth** (USA): Your mugger is nocturnal\_tick (UK). Mug was sent in early November. **calm kiwi** : Your mugger is chique (USA). Mug sent 11/26. **chique** (USA) Your mugger is owlstretchingtime (UK). That mug had to be re-sent due to possible terrorist mints. **nocturnal\_tick** (UK): Your mugger is Rock n Roach (USA). The mug was sent 11/18. **Pontia** (USA): Your mugger is KungFuLola (Canada). The mug was expected to be sent around 12/01. **Rodd Hill** (Canada): Your mugger is jsgoddess (USA). Mug was sent mid-November. **Salem** (USA): Your mugger is Standup Karmic (Canada). That mug was sent late (early December). **Standup Karmic** (Canada): Your mugger is amarinth (USA). Mug was sent 11/02. ---

Well, there’s a big sigh of relief! I’m so glad it arrived, **owlstretchingtime**. I must have missed this post somehow cause I’m just seeing it today. Was everything unbroken? Did you get the card off the front of the package (which explains the paper and the snow globe)? ---

i walked into the house tonight and there in the vestibule was a package… “i’ve been mugged!!!” i said. i opened the package and sure enough emperor penguin mugged me. i can’t wait to take the smarties into work tomorrow and taunt co workers with them. the mug is wonderfully colourful. i like the key chain, i’ll be able to tell the office manager exactly how cold it is in my area now. thank you kindly emperor penguin, a very bright spot in a very icky, dark day. ---

Yes it did all turn up safe and sound and I am the envy of my septic pal who is a Red Socks fan (from vermont) and I taunt him with my mug. I did find the card too. The Snow Globe is sat on my desk in front of me as I type. The sweets have all gone and the little owls are now a bit fatter. I’ve sent you a copy of our local equivelent to your paper - the big difference is that we have less adverts for bake sales and more for prostitutes (yes really), but I thought you might like the contrast. I’m so glad it made it in one piece, and wasn’t sent back. That’s one for me and none for the mean old lady at the post office. Both myself and one other person tried to convince her that US customs has eased up somewhat. She eventually let me put it through with the caveat that I was responsible for all return shipping costs. And it made it. Woot. I’m glad you like everything. The dude on the key chain is Mr. PG. A 25 ft or so man standing by the highway into town. Occasionally the City will dress him up. Occasionally, so will the residents, usually with a pair of nylons and two basketballs, placed strategically. Anyhoodle, I’m gald it made your day better, and if you need more smarties,m let me know! ---

I suppose I’m bumping a rather old thread, but I do think it’s the only polite thing to do. I returned from my Christmas vacation in Mexico and found that there was a package available for me to pick up at the post office. I was mugged, indeed. Chocolated, too! I must do pennace. I am extremely late with my thank you to **Standup Karmic** who was my mugger. And not only did my mug arrive with perfect timing on Christmas Eve Day, but it was no ordinary mug. Oh no. It was, and still is, A Canadian Mug. And not just ANY Canadian Mug. A Canadian Rockies Mug. The best danged Canadian Rockies Mug I’ve ever seen. And it has pictures and stuff on it. And **Standup Karmic** sent an entire 2 page guide to my mug and its pictures. He is a very detailed individual with Excellent Taste in mugs. And gondollas. There were lots of gondollas. And in order to make up for my lateness in replying, I am sitting here with a maple leaf stuck to my forehead, which I had to dig out from under the snow, but I don’t mind cause **Standup Karmic** deserves that kind of worship and adulation because he is such an incredible guy. Thoughtful, considerate, kind and willing to let me put anything (within reason) into my mug. His heart is as big as the Canadian Rockies. **Standup Karmic** , you are the wind beneath my wings. Was that gratuitous enough? Can I take the Mounties underwear off my head now? People are starting to talk. ---
