My calendar says Columbus Day is Monday. Of the seven Great Powers on the Diplomacy board, I’d say Italy’s the most responsible party. 🙂 ---

Unless anyone objects. Steve says he’s ready to write orders, and I’ve emailed everyone (including Alex at his alternate address) to let y’all know of the change. If I don’t hear anything by this evening, I’ll assume everyone’s happy with that, and will send out a confirming email. Winter 1904 would be this Saturday, October 12. So how do y’all like my steady hand on the tiller, here? 😉 ---

**McG** , now that I see you popping your head in here I should ask if you and that Turkish sleaze are happy with your new beach front properties in Rumania? It’s understandable, the area is very beautiful in Autumn. Still, I am troubled by this new aggression and collusion. Not to worry. Yaponchik and Evsei will be stopping by soon with an eviction notice. ---

Summer 03 has been adjucated in 1046. Everyone wave farevell to Germany as she becomes the first power to be eliminated. A mistake was made by yours truly with Turkey’s spring orders as well, this has been corrected and Turkey has a fleet in Bulgaria. Fall moves are due Friday morning ---
