Sorry I missed the deadline for my last move. And I WAS going to order A Gas S A Por-Spa, thus leaving me with Portugal and keeping me alive for another turn. But I have a good excuse. My first child was born Monday, and I’ve been a little bit distracted. She’s cute and pink and perfect. So getting snuffed out isn’t so bad. Ah well, I had fun, but as you said there’s nothing you can do when all 3 of your neighbors decide to team up and destroy you. Oh, and Shibb? I offered you nothing but friendship against the evil English. And you decided to attack me. And so Italy thought they’d get in the game too. I can’t blame the English for taking part too, that’s just their nature, they can’t help it. But I expected better from you. Well, looks like Turkey will get my revenge for me. Things just didn’t fall right for you in this game. Your meteoric expansion worried a lot of folks into attacking you early, and a couple of lucky guesses by me broke your center. I’ll explain a bit more of the “why” in the debrief, it’s still classified at this point, but it wasn’t unreasoned. Have fun playing with your daughter instead of reading e-mails. Nah, I think it’s best if we leave the results as is. Maybe in a few months I’ll get involved in another game, right now my free time is a bit too limited. And anyway, even if I stayed in, Portugal is completely undefended, it would neccesarily fall to someone or other next year. I suppose I might blunder into one of the other centers somehow, keeping me at one unit. No, it’s better this way. I’ll just sit here in the dark by myself. I don’t want you kids to put me in a home. Just set me adrift on an iceberg when I’m no longer of use, like the Eskimos… ---
