1. Depending upon the GM you may have a website where things are tracked. You can see mine at [http://www.wooleysark.com/dip](http://www.wooleysark.com/dip) for an example. 2. Communication can be anything but is mostly emails. I’m had some IM and some phone calls but email is the winner. 3. A basic grasp of the rules is necessary. But beyond that experience is the biggest factor in long term success. ---

I’m just (not really) upset they called it quits. Austria went from 1 unit to 13, which was the lead at the time the game ended. I wanted to see if he could have gone all the way. ---
