Don’t they usually run away from the Germans? France and Germany both need to become good friends, _real_ quick. Russia and England may already be to tough to stop if they can avoid fighting each other. ---

I thought the Turkey / Russia combo was just as interesting. I’ve not seen a lot of these, but I don’t recall seeing Greece fall to Turkey in Year 01. Austria seems to be in a bit of peril. Very perilous peril. ---

**Shibb** , I think the key to Turkey’s conquest of Greece was Austria inexplicably ordering Serbia to hold. That speaks more to the A/T relationship than the T/R, doesn’t it? Russia’s got to love seeing all that action in the west. I think Russia usually likes to see a strong France, but an empty Norway and an army in Denmark has to have his mouth watering. I’d rank that game as of F01 something along the lines of R T E G I F A although the top three are hard. You gotta like Russia at 6 centers and Norway standing open, but Turkey controlling the Black is a big minus. Turkey at 5 after one year is outstanding, control of the Black is huge, but prospects may be limited. England did make a huge splash but 2 builds in 01 isn’t unheard of, and is usually accomplished making fewer enemies than he has. You’ve gotta wonder what Germany gained from supporting E into Belgium. 1099 deadline has been set at **Wednesday Feb 26th at 8pm PST/11pm EST** (just over 26 hours from now). If you guys prefer midnight EST we can do that for next turn if we get it nailed down ahead of time. For this turn I want to stick to the deadline as quoted originally. ---

I thought they were due late last night. I got up all excited to find out the results. I wait now. We’d be glad to have some of your snow, JC. We get these tantalizing predictions, and then 1 inch or so. Either deadline works for me, although if it’s 11 pm EST, I may actually see the results before I go to bed. ---

Question: I have both received and sent out letters after the fall adjudication. Is that allowed? and **McGee** , that’s why I like Chicago. If you buy someone, they _stay_ bought. ---

I’m not taking an official position on Dipping in the Winter period. Do as you will. It’ll only ever be one day, anyway. Target deadlines (all will be at 8pm PST/10pm CST/11pm EST): Winter 1901 - Tonight, Thursday Feb 27th Spring 1902 - Tuesday, March 4th Fall 1902 - Thursday, March 6th Winter 1902 - Friday, March 7th Subsequent years will hopefully stick to the T/Th/F schedule. Thanks for the orders and map, **B.Wikkit**! I love the Turkey v Russia dynamic in this one. I hope that you’re not too attached to that fleet, **Abe**. Even money that it goes “bye-bye” in the Spring. I think this **tjblack** character might have some chops. Now that I’ve seen the map I have no idea what **McG** ’s comment meant, though. Unless there was a bounce with Italy in Trieste. I forgot to look for that. ---
