I have two albino eyelashes too! They’re both on the lower eyelid and pop up every month or two.

Tons of porno actresses actually go in for surgery to have their labia chopped down to nothing, and risk losing sensation because of it.
My freaky thing? I have a dent near my butt where my spine ends. It doesn’t cause me any trouble, but it’s _weird_. Can’t figure out what the hell that is, unless I had a tail removed when I was a baby? :eek:
My pinky toenail is so small that I’m amazed it can hold onto the toe at all.
And then there’s the supernumerary nipple.

Hmmm. Extremely flexible. . . check. (Fingers bent back , legs behind head, arms to reach those hard-to-reach back itches)
Teeth nigh-impervious to decay . . . check. (Great superpower, that.)
I did have an impacted canine tooth as a child though. Grew in sideways in the gum. Much surgery ensued, but the process to correct its orientation killed the tooth. Then there was a root canal.

I looked up “synesthesia”, because this sounded kinda familiar, and it looks like I am also synesthetic. Until I read your post, I thought everyone saw colours and textures in music.

I can put my feet behind my head as well. I guess that’s not as unusual as I’d thought!
I can do this weird thing with my toes. I sort of point them and then bend them back and forth really quickly and they make this “crunch crunch crunch” sound. It freaks people out.
I can also fold my tongue.

I have never heard of this before. Its really interesting. Does it cause any problems for you? It sounds so cool to me- I would love to have that. I also looked at some websites on this and there are some really interesting stories. There was one woman who had a very distinct color for pain- orange.
She went to the dentist because her tooth hurt and told the dentist that she needed a root canal for a certain tooth . He said she didnt. And she said, “The tooth is orange to me, do it.” And he did and she was correct- she did need the root canal.
But anyway, very interesting.
For me I only have a few weird things:
I cant extend my arms straight. There is always a bend in them. Kinda weird… my brother has it too.
I’m spotted. My skin has little spots on it that is paler than the rest of my skin… Basically my skin tone is very uneven and blotchy- I mostly have it on my legs. It sucks.
I have eczema on my hands and big toe. I dont get it year round- mostly when it warm and dry- like now. I get tiny little bubbles of liquid that eventually dry and peel. Its a pain but ive learned to live with it.
I cant burp.

when i put my left palm down on a flat surface (table, floor, etc) my elbow automatically pivots 45 degrees so my elbow is sideways in relation to my hand, my right arm does the same thing to a lesser degree, i always thought this was normal, but people who see me do it (elbow pivoting 45 degrees) are always creeped out by it, is this abnormal?

My left flipper is noticably larger than my right flipper.
And my claspers are on the same side of my cloaca instead of having one on both sides.

I have never been diagnosed with it, but after looking it up I will ask my doctor. I am excessivly flexible. and have had problems because of it. Scoliosis runs in my family.
also, yes, like others I can reach all of my back to scratch it with either arm, and I can put my left arm on the outside of my shouler blade behind my back. I can put either foot behind my head, but not both at the same time. I can palm the floor most of the time. (I was able to do that 9 months pregnant too)

Another flexible person checking in. Everyone has said everything, so I will leave it at that, hehe.
I was born with a large lump inside my left ear, near the top. When I was 4, it burst and there was pus for a few days. Now, what remains is that I have an extra little “cave” in my ear. No one notices it, only my mom and one boyfriend have ever noticed.
I have a ganglion. I even have a picture of it. It’s not gross or anything…

My left foot turns in slightly, and I walk with a bit of a limp. It looks less like a limp and more like a generic rapper’s strut, and it frequently prompts my dad to tell me that I walk like a man.
I can give “the toe” - yes, I can stick up my middle toe.
Lastly, my mom and I both have freckles between two of our toes in the exact same spot.
That’s about it, nothing so extraordinary, but fun to post about nevertheless!

I have a horseshoe kidney.
It was discovered when I had a kidney stone and they did the iodine x-ray scan. My kidneys are joined together with a loop across the front of my intestines.

Ooh, intriguing.
And is there nobody else here with musical ears like mine? What I mean is that I can create suction on them with the palms of my hands and make them squeak. And if they’re wet, I can also fold them forward and they’ll stick closed. I haven’t tried climbing up buildings with them yet.

Oh oh. THis isn’t my freakish thing, but this is another persons. The front man for Weezer, Rivers Cuomo, was born with his left leg 44mm (8 inches I think) shorter then his right leg. He still played soccer when he was younger, even with a leg 8 inches shorter then the other. Anyway, he got it fixed in 97 (I think) so now both legs are about the same size.

What’s the prognosis for your condition? Do the baby teeth just stay there, and you keep them through your life, or do they fall out anyway and you have to have prosthetics?

Er… 44mm is just under 1.75 inch.
Still interesting, but nothing special shoes can’t help with.

The inside of my elbows face out in the same direction as my hands instead of in towards my body. The effect was more pronounced when I was little, and now it’s more noticeable when I lean on something (the joints rotate more under pressure; used to go all the way around to face outwards). I have no idea why, and other than that I’m not particularly flexible.

I was under the impression that most people can’t even do that with one arm, if only from watching the spectacle of my fellow stiff-jointed, tight-tendoned males in yoga class trying to do forward bends. It’s my impression that women tend to be more flexible than men.

One of my canine teeth came down in the middle of my hard palate. It was later pulled over by braces. The rest of my teeth were fine.
If I tongue the top of my mouth (like saying “la”) I only have a bumpy on the left side.
My femurs were so short when I was born (just a few inches) the doctors were sure I’d never walk. Another reason I would never walk: I was born with no arches and large fat pads on the bottoms of my feet. It’s hard to walk with rounded feet so I had to wear orthopedic shoes from infancy until I was six or so. I walk just fine now, and I’m 5’8"+.
I can also scratch my back with both hands. Less now that I’m older and fatter, but I can still do it.
My brother was born with no fingernails or toenails and perforated eardrums.
