Thank you so much for the update, OW. It’s not the good news I was hoping for, but I appreciate the honest appraisal. I’m still praying just as hard for **rubles** , but I’m praying even harder for you because he’s not in pain just now, and you have so much on your shoulders. God bless. (I hope it’s OK that I say that. If not, I’m sorry.) ---

Just so you know who we’re talking about here… **Ruble** ( **Kopek → Ruble** ; most Mumpers {MMPers} get a nickname). [ul] [li]Ain’t right in the head.[/li][li]Has two females in his life, Old\_Wench…& Bessie.[/li][li]Doesn’t directly post pics to the Dope; he usually emails them to me to post for him.[/li][/ul] I have these pics because I posted them for him back in July when he went on an outing with Bessie. The setup: > [@Here - taste this in the MMP](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/here-taste-this-in-the-mmp/836704/14): > > Tomorrow is [Cow Appreciation Day](https://www.chick-fil-a.com/cow-appreciation-day). > > **Ruble** , if you can get rubber chickens in time, I bet they’d give Bessie a free oil change & some C-F-A social media publicity for you! > [@Here - taste this in the MMP](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/here-taste-this-in-the-mmp/836704/48): > > My free sandwich was terrific. **Spidey** may post pictures later but ---------- I walked in and the older lady at the counter asked if she could help me. I pointed over my shoulder with my thumb and asked “does that qualify for a sandwich or do we need to consult the rules committee?” She looked out the window and at the same time the young lady next to her did as well. Turns out the younger one was the manager. She said “Oh God - that SO counts!” The lady I originally spoke to said “But you have to ride it in” but as I started for the door she seemed to change her mind about that part. 😃 It was fun and I am glad I did it. > [@Here - taste this in the MMP](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/here-taste-this-in-the-mmp/836704/73): > > [**Ruble**](https://www.dropbox.com/s/unj4fbuj9kfx2xk/IMG_2762.JPG) & [**Bessie**](https://www.dropbox.com/s/i6jnd9u4az3g1rn/IMG_2763.JPG).
