There once was a thread about posters who have names that make it difficult to know their gender, and **lieu** mentioned that \*\*Nurse Carmen \*\* had gonads. So now when I see your name, my mind says “\*\*Nurse Carmen \*\* (gonads).” ---

**picunurse** always looks like “picky nurse” to me, and I imagine a nurse who doesn’t want to do anything gross. **Silentgoldfish** is floating upside down at the top of the bowl pretending to be dead so he (she?) can jump out and give the cat a heart attack. **Cajun Man** makes me start singing. You know… “He’s a man who lives a life of danger… secret **Cajun Man**!” ---

When I read “Johnny L.A.”, I think of a Rob Lowe -type with wayfarers. Maybe a Billy Idol-type sneer. Diogenes The Cynic seems to trip up my brain, and I see the guy with the lantern, looking for an honest man. That’s got to be wrong. Bricker conjures an image of a brick wall. Reeder gave me a mental picture of a guy picking cat-tails. Zev Steinhart makes me think of Krusty the Clown. Or his rabbi father. ---
