[Here’s a recent self-portrait.](http://ii.fobby.net/misc/P1230623.jpg) There wasn’t anybody else to hold the camera, since I was about 100 feet up a fir tree at the time. 😃 The [view](http://ii.fobby.net/misc/P1230563.jpg) sure is nice, though. ---

Why do I always get sucked in by how much fun this stuff sounds? I should have been asleep hours ago. [This](http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL176/1171787/2880366/93144139.jpg) is as close to a self-portrait that I’ve ever done; I took a photo of myself to use as the model for Aladdin in the lower panel. ---

I vote for the one from the front. The one from the side is a bit too blurry. This is my favourite recent [self-portrait](http://www.flickr.com/photos/polkaroo/3245741552/)… it’s my Week 4 entry for the Flickr 52 Weeks project. I never realised how bloody hard it would be to take a decent SP every single week (at least for me… my face does wonky things when you point a camera at it, so I tend to look like an eejit in 90% of my photos). I’ve got massive respect for the folks who choose to do 365 Days project… that’s hardcore. ---

Ever since I picked up the sicko stalker I’ve been nervous about posting pictures in public and leaving them there for more than a day or so. There’s a site out there that I can’t find now where you can transform your face into styles that resemble famous artists and [this one](http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g132/KGpictures/KGBotticellismall.jpg) in the Botticelli style looks a lot like me. ---
