O.K, on average, how often do dopers get laid? Let’s do a yearly average, I think that has some significance (if any). Single dopers only please, I don’t want the rest of you oft-laid bastards skewing the statistics. And one partner = one lay, to make things simple. So, with me for example, I’ve had sex with 14 people in the 6 years since I lost my virginity. That comes to about 2 per year - not too good, I would say, but that’s what I’m trying to find out. So am I way behind the power curve, ahead of it, or about on par? _Added:_ How about you? ---

How is “getting laid” being defined? I dated a guy in high school and participated in some heavy below the belt action that didn’t feel like sex at the time. I dated a girl in college and did those same things and it totally felt like sex. Conversations like this confuse me because, while I’m pretty sure that I’m not a virgin, I have no idea when I lost my virginity. It just sort of faded away. ---

Let’s be frivolous. Define “getting laid” however you like. If giving head _feels_ like it should count as sex, go ahead and count it in, why not. 🙂 I would probably count that in myself, however I’ve never experienced oral sex without eventually getting to the rest of it. Let’s do say, however, that phone-sex and e-sex are categorically _out_. ---

I would define “getting laid” as an event where all parties get to engage in whatever gives them maximum sexual satisfaction, be it 3rd base, all the way, whatever. If there are P partners involved, and only N of them reach full personal satisfaction, all parties get credit for N/P lays until the balance is fully settled. Any participant may substitute one and only one other participant’s gratification to satisfy their own requirements. ---

2 girlfriends. Lost virginity to first one (it was mutual). 2 ‘casual’ encounters. These were girls that I had repeated hook-ups with at college. One was a 2 night affair, the other was about 4 or 5. All while intoxicated. About 5 or 6 duds, in which intercourse was either cut short or ruled out due to factors like drunkenness or lack of protection. So yes, not good at all. In fact, it’s pretty fucking poor. Fourteen people in the six years, you say? I’d say that’s pretty good going, myself. Especially since I’m assuming a great deal of those were sober, memorable, and you didn’t wake up in the morning with a raging headache and the condom still on. 😉 ---

10 girls, full intercourse, many times (for most of them), over 5 years. I’m not sure you want to count all 5 years though. I was deployed for 18 months, where tail is minimal, and Iraq for 12 of those, where it’s negligent. So maybe count 4 years? That’s 2.5 a year. That doesn’t count the girls I’ve been with that I didn’t actually get to do everything with. Then maybe I’m at 14 or so… so 3.5 a year. ---

I hate threads like these. Everyone goes into B.S. mode, inflates their numbers, and then pretend to be modest asking “That’s pretty low isn’t it?”. “I got laid 100 times last year by 50 different woman. I know, I know, it was a slow year.” “Me and the wife are at it 4-5 times a week. I bet that’s below average huh?” ---

When I’m dating someone it’s between 1 and 3 times a week. But that’s like…few and far between over the past 10 years. I try not to count, as it’s not a competition yaknow 😉 ---

Put me down for once in the past seven years. ---

Not me. I haven’t had anyone for a while due to making the the mistake of falling in love and then putting an ocean between us. Before that , I lost count at about 50 and that was ten years ago. bete “the slut and proud of it” noir ---

I had a friend that counted sex as anything that lead to orgasm. I like that definition but it’s not necessary to nit-pick in my case… Single years only? Pre-marriage one: four women (counting pre-marital sex w/ first wife) in 5 years Married 4+ years (faithfully) Between wives: 3 women in two years (counting pre-marital w/ 2nd wife) Married 11+ years (faithfully again, ignoring my MIL’s fictions…) Post 2nd marriage, six women in 6 months, including two sort-of, semi-one-night stands (not planned that way, I guess I didn’t float their individual boats in person as much as did via chat and email.) So, 13 women in 7.5 single years since I lost my virginity @18. 1.7 women/year average (but the rate is increasing 😉 ) ---

2 guys (both boyfriends) in the last three and a half years. No hookups in between (those 22 months in between were a dry spell if I’ve ever seen one). ---

21 guys in the 18 years since I lost my virginity. Roughly one per year, on average. (Oh, if only that were the case, instead of the odd really good year mixed in with many consecutive bad years… ;)) ---

Lost virginity in the 10th month of my 21st year. Now in the 2nd month of my 23rd year. To quote Zapp Brannigan, “I have made it with a woman.” Only one though ^^;;; We did it like rabbits though! Every other day when we were together I’d say. It was a long distance relationship, so the time we spent together was like concentrated horny juice. That ended though last August ☹ Dry spell from then to now, but sexwise things are looking positive lately (knock on wood!). ---
