I realize that this may be stupid, but could y’all explain some of the acronyms you use on here? I’m particularly interested in what IIRC means. ---

If I Recall (Remember) Correctly. Run a search for abbreviations or acronyms. There’s a few threads on it already. Happy to help. ---

One that didn’t get on the thread **DrMatrix** cited is: IBERII = I Believe Everyone Realizes It’s Instinctive. I blush to admit that I’m not sure if the correct context. ---

There are tons more acronyms that can be used. But these are common internet lingo (not just this forum). The only unique acronyms I’ve seen here are SDMB and SD (I’ll let you guess at those). ---

Another essential is the everpresent ROTFLMAO - rolling on the floor laughing my arse off. This is somethign that I have done frequently since becoming addicted to SDMB - it’s probably why I became addicted. ---

My personal favourite (not from this board, as far as I know) is TSDTHO (Typing Slowly Due To HangOver). ---
