Tittle says it all. If there was a group of people that referred to you (or us) as a Durper(s), would you find that at all insulting? Even slightly? ETA: I meant Durper not Derper. ---

I think I’d have more problem being referred to as a “Derper” (since at least in the circles I hang out in, “Derp!” is kind of insulting in a ‘you’re an idiot’ kind of way, albeit usually in fun). Wouldn’t really mind either way, though. I’ve never heard of a “durper,” unless that’s an alternative spelling. My first thought when I saw that was “ERMAGERD! STRERT DERPERS!” 😃 ---

I can’t seem to muster up any feelings about it at all. As far as I know, no one has ever referred to me as a durper. Where does that word come from? ---

Lowers my opinion of the speaker, as silly “insulting” names never really have been high on my personal list of “signifiers of a subtle and discriminating mind”, and harms me not a bit. The existence of the “snackpit” boggles my mind, though. Like, **really**? **That’s** what you do for fun? But I guess I’ve never really appreciated many fine internet pastimes, like trolling and 4chan. ---
