**Off The Top Of My Head** **picunurse** is a retired nurse who did her 30 years in peds, and now enjoys bunjee jumping, naked sky diving, and cross stitching. Ok, I made up all three. **No clue Boy** is in construction and suffers from OCD regarding Star Trek and in his spare time he likes to cluck like a chicken. **Jonathan Chance** is an editor to a magazine (something about birds?), recently moved to Ohio, has 1.3 daughters. He is an avid reader of TigerBeat Magazine and is an exceptional belcher. **Kalhoun** was previously married to a man much older than her, but that didn’t work out, married now for…almost twenty years(?), one son ( I think) her inlaws are really big into graveside funeral crying rituals and she is a secret Ninja master on the side. **Tanookie** has two children, an addiction to a varied of on line games and loves monopoly. When she isn’t looking to score with Mr. Moneybags or Go To Jail, she moonlights as a car wash attendant in Massachusets named Simbul at the Tunnel O’ Suds. **Qadop the Whateverian** is a doctor who left private practice to work in Prison Medicine, is a scholar of Tolkein and has survived not only a nasty plane crash, but the joys of being a landlord. Little known fact about this man is that in 1972 he was named " Ms. Sweet Potato " at the Wisconsin fair. **Lobsang** Lives on the Isle of Mann, so that makes him a Manx and, yes, he is tail-less. It is rumored that he does purr if you stroke him. He is a student or possibly, a gigilo, which the latter would explain why he always asks the most excellent questions. **Coldfire** when not asserted his jackbooted moderator’s iron grip on the doper masses, is a mild mannered Clogged banker or international spy. He has been known to ride his bike drunk. He calls somewhere near Amsterdarn his home and is anxiously and most hornily awaiting the arrival of his mail order bride, **Heloise**. **Heloise** is from California, on route to AMS, totalled her car in April and I need closure on that part of her life. How are you doing? **XJetGirlX** is an artist who lives in Florida ( west coast…tampa?) with her husband who is works with stiffs all day. She is a member of the Doper Chick Hottie Brigade, according to all the graffitti on the doper bathroom walls. **John Carter of Mars** Lives in Alabama ( or mississippi…I get them mixed up all the time.), has a crazy neighbor named Bubba who likes to give **JCOM** his honey. Bubba, FTR, is the BOMB in a furry russian hat. In his spare time, JCOM likes to fix up houses, play in the sprinkler and looks like Pierce Brosnan. **Delphica** lives in Brooklyn, is an avid reader and an artist with clay jewelry of some sort. She belongs to a book club, dispenses excellent advice and likes to listen to tuba solo’s. She possibly has children. (sorry, my inner eye is clogged.) **dangermom** lives in Walnutville or Watsonville, CA. Has kids and in her spare time she helps little old ladies break their addiction to bingo. **Ginger of the NOrth** A former Canadian married a doper from MD ( or is it VA?) has a daughter or possibly a son. She is expecting a baby in Novemberish? Gingy tells people that she was an insurance adjustor or something like that in Canunkistan, but really, she was Dudley Do-Right’s side kick. **MattMcl** lives in Quebec, speaks 932 languages, is a translator and activist for Gay & Human rights issues. His role model was his late father who was well known and respected journalist. He likes pina colada’s and getting caught in the rain. **Philosphr** is a college professor who is married and lives either in CT, VT or Park Place. ( Definately not the crappy purple properties.) Has a siamese kitten that is named Ping Pong or Mei Li or Long Duck Dong. When he isn’t coming up with excellent threads, he is a mild mannered super hero in real life. **Scott Evil** has been sober for over a year and has married or is about to be married to his partner , whose name just escapes me, but it begins possibly with J. (Jeremy?) He has an office job, lives in the states and wears whitey tighties. **Jarbaby** is an actress from Chicago who is married, loves …umm…Green Bay football and is a most excellent arguer in the Pit. She has won the Tour de France 7 times. **Hedra** has two kids, lives somewhere that I cannot recall, is published and working on another book and last I read, was joyously ( and I hope that it still is the case) expecting a baby in mid November. When she isn’t dispensing solid advice, she enjoys underwater basketweaving. **False God** works for the Consulate/Embassy in Sri Lanka. Moves every year or so. He is a diplomatic something or other, I could tell you more, but then I would have to kill myself. **China Guy** is a guy. He lives in China. He is a teacher at an American School or Chinese School or possibly he is just a really lost tourist that refuses to ask directions. He scored a 1650 on his SAT’s. Ok. That about does it for me tonight. Any errors, naturally, are my own, but society is to blame. ---

Which just goes to prove that the SDMB is a community, by any definition of the word. We know things about each other, often a scary amount of things, and we care/hate/love/lust after/idolize/etc. each other. Great Ghu, but I do love this place! 😃 ---

Wow, **Shirly Ujest** that’s just plain impressive. Let me see what I can remember. **Biggirl** lives in NY somewhere commutes on the Long Island, and has recently stopped drinking due to some kind of illness. She has I think two teenagers and is married and addicted to romance novels. I also thinks she likes to walk around the house nude, but 'm not sure if thats just a fantasy of mine 😃 . **HaplesXL** I think I’m spellling that right is a fellow Oaklander is mixed race I think Asian and something else. She’s married. I also believe **auntie em** is a fellow Oaklander. **minty green** has a crush on NY Giants football player whose name escapes me buit he plays Tight End, hates Brett Favre, and is a hapless Bears fan. **mostro** is a scientist of some sort, works with mostly men, and was raised in Atlanta. **Kricket** lives in the Midwest, Indianna if I remember correctly, works for Oscar Meyers and has 3 kids. \*\* Johnathan Chance\*\* was out of work for a while and relocated to take a job that payed less than his previous position, but has a really nice house now. **Airman Doors** is a Steelers fan, and was also out of work for a long period of time. He’s currently becoming more liberal in his mindset and it’s pissing him off :D, he’s married to **MsRobyn** they have one child. **acrossthesea** was married to a lunatic stationed in Japan(?) recently returned to the States and is now somewhere in the midwest and works at Walmart. **TellmeImNotCrazy** I believe lives in Maryland. I can do more, but I’m having trouble remembering names. ---

While I appreciate the mention (you know that’s true, me being the vain doper that I am) I must point out that a true ‘manx’ (the preferred term is ‘manxman’) would take offence to your calling me ‘manx’ as to them I am a ‘comeover’ I will obligingly purr if you stroke me. (please stroke me!) I stopped being a student years ago. If my questions happen to be excelent (I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt) then it is because I lead a boring existence in which the mind ponders unusual things out of a desperate desire for attention.
