I’ve recently been introduced to [Pinterest](http://pinterest.com/)by a friend’s wife. It’s. . . bordering on an obsession, actually :p. So, are any Dopers on Pinterest? Want to follow each other? I’d love more “pins” to follow. Oh, Pinterest is SOOOO addicting! I love it. [This](http://pinterest.com/annsy/) is me, and I’ll go follow you. I get so many ideas there! However, there’s also a healthy amount of fugly, which is fun, too. 🙂 ---

I love Pinterest! My page is [here](http://pinterest.com/hringman/). A lot of my girl friends are really obsessed with it too, but not many guy friends for some reason. I use it some for ideas or inspiration for my paintings. Or just to save cool pictures that I find. Of course, the pictures I’ve pinned that have been liked/repinned the most are the ones of [cute](http://pinterest.com/pin/43417583877153685/) [animals](http://pinterest.com/pin/177213406/). It seems like it should also be a good way to market my paintings, but I haven’t figured out how to go about doing that. ---

I’m not willing to reveal my real name but had to post because I am in love love love with Pinterest. I use it mostly for crafting/diy/home/garden/holiday ideas. Oh and funny quotes and sayings too. I follow all my favorite bloggers there and get such fun ideas that I could do. Just pinning satisfies my need to craft and redecorate without actually doing it. Yeah. I love Pinterest. ---

I understand the concern wrt your name. You do know you can go into your settings and change what shows up as your name, yeah? I certainly understand if you don’t want to do that, of course, but it seems like a good way to make sure nobody ever stumbles upon your Pinterest via Googling your name. Just a thought :). ---

Hey actually, it is that I don’t ever reveal my name or other personal info here and if I link my pinterest that link is established. I’m all over the web as myself otherwise, both personally and professionally. Just not here. And I still love me some Pinterest. 🙂 ---

I’m thinking of starting a board on Pinterest that’s entitled, “What the hell were they thinking?” It would be filled with all the crap that’s out there–the cheesy, trashy stuff that looks like it should have been thrown in the trashcan, instead of posted online. However, I’m afraid that too many other people would repin it. ---

A friend sent me cammo wedding dresses that someone had earnestly and sincerely pinned to her wedding ideas board. Since I lack tact, I immediately repinned it, commenting that it was literally the tackiest, most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. ---
