I think it was a combination of having to care for an elderly mother and working on a new book - just swallowed up her time. I also miss her. ---

I always just assume that they’ve croaked. “What ever happened to **Rand Rover** ,” I’ll ask myself. (For example) “Must’ve died,” I’ll answer. “Either that or his high school started classes.” By-the-by, if I ever suddenly and inexplicably stop posting, you should assume I’ve croaked. Either that or my high school has offered 52 year old dropouts the option to come back. ---

**Master Wang-ka** not posting was expected, since he \*was \*posting his “bread and butter” material after all, but I wish he would have continued posting more conversationally… maybe message boards aren’t his kind of thing. I miss \*\*Eve \*\*too. Sigh. ---

One thing that this thread does suggest is that a number of worthwhile posters did move to the spin-off boards at the time of The Great Discontent. It shows that it is important to look after your customers. I may be wrong, but I think **Rand Rover** is posting at one of the alternatives. ---
