I had a starter that was getting difficult to start work when cold… one day the car was covered in frost (in Australia… ) and it wouldn’t start .
I poured hot water, a large jug in a slow dribble, onto it, and it started alright then.
So… it seems like that, as its getting worse with the cold, and works fine when its warmed up for the day ?
