**devilsknew** and I knew each other for years before the Dope. I met him while he was dating a friend, they broke up and I’m not friends with the friend anymore, only **d**. I forget which one of us found the SDMB first. ---

Who knew it would be so hard to recruit people to the Dope? My husband, **RickQ** is a doper, but we met here, so that doesn’t count. I did recruit my sister, **cub mistress** , though. Do I get a toaster? ---

AFAIK, only two people I know have posted on the SDMB – a friend from many years back, and my wife **Pepper Mill**. Neither, AFAIK, is currently registered. I would no more watch porn than I would watch a football game. ---

Welp, I have two IRL friend who’s registered here (that I now of); they’ve posted about five times in five years, combined, and one of those is a double post. I’ve told a bunch of people about the Dope, but maybe it’s just better off this way. ---

While reading through the archives I discovered that a Doper who once lived in my little town of Abilene once sat on the jury panel of an attorney acquaintence of mine who was up on felony marijuana charges. Kind of a “huh, small world” moment. ---
