My modest and in no way complete list: **Zette** because she is always very supportive and sweet to me when she responds to my threads. **TN\*Hippie** , though we haven’t communicated in a long time, he’s always the perfect Southern gentleman, with a wicked sense of humor to boot. **Ukulele Ike** because he always elicits the most out-loud laughs when I’m trying to read surreptitiously at work. ---

Okay, I’ll try to be quick. Posters I adore… **Scotti, Le Sang, Jester, mrblue92, Silent Rob, Eutychus55, Persephone, BunnyGirl, Esprix, Maeglin, Zenster** and **matt\_mcl** And my new crush **LNO,** anyone who uses fire on bugs to rid them from my earth is a good, good man. Oh and the little know lurkers **Jera** and whatever Justin picked for a username, the weirdo.(Its a D&D char name…and he said something about stars.) They all get hugs. Big mushy ones. [sub]And if Justin posts in this thread I’ll give him 100 xp.[/sub] As for telling people we love them, my prefered interval is a lot shorter than fifteen days. But if the board is comfy with that, I suppose I’ll make do. Being happy, grateful and loving is good for the world. Being spiteful can do little but injure what is good. I’ll take the twice a month hug fests, thanks. ---

I’ll post under the theme of “Dopers I’ve come to adore although they probably don’t have any idea whatsoever:” Diane (smart, sassy) Miller (that haiku thread was absolutely unforgettable) Rasa (I dunno, something she posted caught my eye once, now I always relish her posts) Scylla (always interesting) Byzantine (where did she go?) Arden Ranger (We post on a lot of the same threads) Juniper200 (Didn’t know her before the Dopefest–am so thrilled I got to know who she was) Bunnygirl (same thing, sorta knew her posts, but not really) JillGat (What’s not to like?) Medea’s Child (always thought you were about 35 from the insight in your posts) Obviously there’s dozens of others, but this is the short list. And under the heading of “Dopers who probably KNOW of my regard for them,” it’s another two dozen or more. ---

First of all, I want to say that I adore every single one of you, warts and all. Now to specifics, **The mods** , for keeping this unruly mob of overgrown children under control, and doing it with tact, wit and grace [sub]well, most of the time anyway :D[/sub] **Eve** , for being such a lady. **matt\_mcl** , for making first contact. I truly enjoyed our talk/walk together. Oh, and BTW, the saints name for the streets ? I’d keep them, you see, they’re not really in honor of the saints, they were named after prominent citizens of the time. The saint handle was tacked on to satisfy the RCC. **Fenris** & **Scylla** , for making me laugh. **jarbabyj** , for teaching me new profanities, and also to help me see the silver lining on the darkest cloud. Hang in there kid, things will pick up. And, finally, **GingerOfTheNorth** , woman, I don’t know what you did to me, but in some way, we seem to have connected. So have a poutine on me, and hoping that one day we will meet IRL. ---

I’m just going to say two things: First, I want to sincerely thank those who expressed their positive feelings about me here. It really made me feel suddenly better tonight. Second, I want to say I do not have a list because I do not participate in these threads anymore. No, not because I think there is anything wrong with them. The truth is - there are so many people I adore and appreciate, I would feel really bad if I left people out. And I know I would, since my memory has been shot with all the work stress I’ve had. The last time we did one of these I left a few people out, and I felt simply terrible as a result. So for that reason, I give you just a general…thank you, everyone. ---
