I harbour secret affections for **Eva Luna, Lamia, Diogenes, jjimm, Sauron & Aries 28, alice\_in\_wonderland, matt\_mcl, elucidator, monstro, Biggirl, margin, Broomstick, iampunha, mangeorge** … no doubt there are more but I can’t think of them now - there are so many of y’all ! And going by the number of names listed that I’ve never seen before, it seems I’ve got much more Doping to do … ---

Well, in addition to all the ones I’ve already met, and all the ones I’m about to meet next week in London, definitely **Tamerlane.** I’m sure there are others, but I haven’t had enough caffeine yet to come up with a list. And I’ll make it out to the Bay Area one of these days, since I’ve got a couple of very old friends and a cousin out there. ---

**Lobsang** Cause he cracks me up. He has one of those weird follow-the-train-of-thought kind of mind (and I have a weird pommy boy fetish too). **jjimm** He is clever, witty and always about. I think he would be good fun to have a drink or 4 with. He strikes me as the perfect mix of brains and silly. **Rue DeDay** The weirdest, funniest bloke there is. Of course I had to tell the child he died because of his tendency of having X rated dreams. **Lissener** Because people who are passionate and defend their position to the nth degree are all good by me. He may bash people over the head with the big stick but he does it with a passion. B]JarbabyJ\*\* Same reason as above. She gets her teeth into an arguement and carries it through with passion but shows her wicked sense of humour. **Lieu** Because farts and poop are funny and because he sometimes shows that class clown is not all that he is. **Quazzi (sp)** Because I still get the giggles over boatloads of kitties vs world peace. **Quasimodem** Because I just learnt so much from him and I don’t want him to be anal compulsive. **TheLoadedDog** because he shows why we Kiwis love and hate Aussies all at the same time. Witty, clever, kind and yet still willing to do multiple arse flashing over All Black defeat 😃 **Ice Wolf** Because she is so incredibly clever and has an awesome sense of humour, which she seems shy to show here but is well demonstrated at G’Dope. Anytime a mini AuckDope is of interest let me know (username @hotmail). I am more then a tad intimidated by your knowlege. And **Maleinblack** Because after 5 years of knowing him online I expect to be invited to his wedding (flight paid for, for me and the child of course). True friends come from not where you expect them but they are gold. ---

Wow…I’m honored to have been mentioned by a few of you. I would love to meet every single Doper who has participated in the Book Fairy program and sent me such kind emails. I would also like to meet **gobear** , **Homebrew** , **Polycarp** , **Siege** , **Guinastasia** , **iampunha** , **Aslan of Narnia** …gosh…there are just so many people I would be here all day trying to name them all. **Sauron** and I have already talked about trying to fly up to the next MAD affair and if we can swing it, we plan to sometime next year. ---

I’d have to say (and this list is by no means complete, it’s my hunger-addled - what - it’s LUNCHTIME! - brain trying to perform) **Diane** - rarely has she said anything that I don’t find supercool. **porcupine** - she knows why - we share a sibling (kinda), a birthday, and a bunch o’other stuff. **UncleBeer** - he’s just “cool”. **Audrey Levins** - she’s just “cool”. **dinsdale** - he’s just “cool”. **dropzone** - he’s just “cool”. You getting the picture yet? 😉 **Ed Zotti** - he just cracks me up. **jdavis** - there aren’t words enough to thank him, but I’d like to try. **tomndebb** - the man has the patience of a saint, and ability to explain things so I’ll understand them - no easy feat - some have described it as akin to banging your head against a brick wall. **Bricker** - yep, it’s that whole “cool” thing again. **matt\_mcl** - I just would love to talk politics with him - what an extraordinary young man! **gobear** - thanks to some of the stuff he’s posted, I’ve learned a lot, I’ve taken a good look at some of my beliefs and I’ve changed them - 'nuff said. **Jodi** - see above under “Bricker”. Yep - cool. **Bottled Blonde Jeanie** - starter of way cool threads. 🙂 That’s all I can do for now but believe me, there are so many, many more - but I have to get some lunch or I’m going to waste away to absolutely nothin, and y’all wouldn’t want THAT to happen, would you? 🙂 ---

My big ole’ size 12’s got a little to sweaty in the satins. But they really do bring out the color in my eyes. ---
