That’s very sad. We can only hope that the causes are identified and that changes are made to prevent such a thing from happening again. ---

Google Maps, etc. indicates that this is a small town, basically in the middle of nowhere, and I’m guessing that a lot of the people who lived in outlying areas sent their children here so they could get an education. One story I looked at said it was believed to have been “deliberately set”, although by whom or why was unknown. RIP to the girls. ---

This totally sounds like a terrible situation, fire or no fire. Bet some of those girls are going to start talking about abuse, if they can.
