As I can only assume this was a work of fiction, I think Cafe Society is the right place… What ever happened to that web page about the woman who wanted to become a real DBE amputee who wears twin body powered prostheses with matching dorrance #5x stainless steel hooks? I can’t seem to find it anymore (though I can find one or two references to it at cruel dot com and something awful)? Did anyone keep up with that, or did the page just quietly drop off the net? ---

Why am I not surprised me and the devil think alike? I was going to start a “Where are they now?” type thread and ask about the Dorrance girl, Anal Mary, the guy who wanted to date an elf, lizard man and the Indian self-described pop star who was God’s gift to all women. Still wondering. ---

Dorrance girl seems to have dropped off the face of the net. This happened a year ago, if not earlier. Maybe she finally got her desire and discovered that she no longer had the ability to use her computer. :smack: ---

Notice that a Google search on “Dorrance” yields no results on a Dorrance Company of any kind? Maybe Dorrance Inc. went out of business!! and she had to switch brands!! Maybe she’s now the Acme #5x Stanless Steel Hooks Girl. [sub]sorry[/sub] ---

I didn’t realize that elf-dating guy was Peter Pan. He was on Jimmy Kimmel’s show a couple days ago, green suit and all. He took Jimmy’s ribbing with good nature. Didn’t strike me as a loon. He was well aware that other people regarded his obsession as odd (to put it kindly), but really didn’t give a damn. ---

Actually, almost no site completely disappears. If you use the [Internet Archive Wayback Machine](http://web.archive.org), you can look at sites that no longer exist on the rest of the Web, but have been archived here. I think the Dorrance #5 steel hooks “girl” is [here](http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.geocities.com/FashionAvenue/6914/CONTENTS.html) – just click on one of the 5 links which represent the 5 different “versions” or updates of that particular site, the latest update being in April 6, 2001. ---
