# Douchebag songs

I debated about starting this thread, but then I heard the song that motivated it in the first place, and I just had to write about it.
It’s the Kevin Rudolf song [Let It Rock](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0n4eMGXAyk). I can’t help but think of this [guy](http://www.photopox.com/Images/Insults/1163955324-douchebag.jpg). I think the chorus is what really does the song in:

Feelin’ Way Too Damn Good by Nickelback was what pushed them from background noise on the radio to a band I actively change the station for.

The Manfred Mann’s Earth Band version of “Blinded by the Light” probably deserves some kind of Honorable Mention just going on enunciation.

Both of those are great! Nickelback seems to be highly correlated with douchiness in my experience.

… seriously: “My Way” is without a doubt the douchiest song ever recorded. I just can’t decide which version is douchier: Sinatra’s, Elvis’s or the Sex Pistols’. Let’s just say that they’re each equally douchy in their own unique ways.

What about timeless douchebag songs, that douchebags of all generations can stand behind and go “FUCK YEAH!” whenever they’re played at a party or event? A few I can think of off the top of my head:
Billy Idol: _Mony Mony_, especially when sung with the “hey, get laid get fucked” and “hung like a pony” lines.

My favorite moment of song douchebaggery is in the movie _Nashville_, when Keith Carradine is singing [I’m Easy (YouTube)](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KZ8PRWChb8) and practically half the women in the audience think that she is the one he’s singing it to.
