> [@Dr\_Paprika](#): > > It is easy to judge after a crisis but Ford and other politicians handled Covid passably well, not perfectly, and one does not have to look too far south to find the pudding and its proof. He’d have come out of it looking a lot better had he not targeted nurses with Bill 124 and gone on the offence against teachers, right before nurses became even more essential than they were already, and right before teachers had to restructure just about everything in their jobs to do it remotely. I’m one of those citizens frustrated by the charisma-free options in the opposition that helped him sail into a second term with another majority. I’m left-leaning but I’m infuriated by the left’s inability to take out a guy who IMHO is a bully and bad for the province. ---

The Liberals and NDP fought each other rather than see things that way. [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/doug-ford-re-elected-in-ontario-80-seats-out-of-120/965608.md?page=1)
