Jeffery, hopefully by Thanksgiving weekend I’ll be living in Huntsville making a trip to Atlanta then. If not, then I’ll definitely be in town for Christmas. Don’t let me hold y’all up though. We could always have a make-up session! ---

Strainger, we wouldn’t want to hold it without you. What about the rest of the Atlanta dopers? Anytime good for you guys? Jeffery ---

I was born in Atlanta and have lived in Alabama most of my life. I spent about 5 1/2 years in Huntsville, part in the early 80’s, and again in the mid 90’s. I quite enjoyed it. Now I am on the banks of the Chatahoochee. Question - If I can see Georgia from my front door, can I say I’m from there? ---

Surely you can claim to be from Georgia. I do not blame you from not wanting to claim to be from Alabama. Jeffery ---

Sounds like a North Alabama/South Tennessee SDMB get-together may be in order as well. ---

Strainger, are you going to go to all of these get togethers? I am going to start a thread for all those in the Atlanta area. Jeffery ---

I’m Reviving this thread because I don’t want to start another one ( the board baing too cluttered as is. ) **White Wolf:** Seeing as we’re so close, wanna get together? Anyplace in Metairie/Kenner or even in town where you’d like to go? * * * “Oh we were brought up on the Space-Race, now they expect us to clean toilets. When you have seen how big the world is how can you make do with this?” Pulp, “Glory Days” ---
