Am I the only person to look at 2-4 SDMB subjects and then suddenly the next one takes f o r e v e r to load?
My status bar seems to just stand still downloading a message with even 1 original post . zzzzzz
I bet it took all of 3 minutes before this new subject page showed up tonight. zzzzzzzzzzz
I have a 33.6 modem on my 120 pent with ample memory - My ISP is Alltel. Only other window open is outlook express mail.
This isn’t much of a problem on other sites I visit, but it gets really old after a while here.

It’s due to high server load at the SDMB. In other words, the problem is not on your end.

I’m new here but it seems pretty bad sometimes, but I think it’s due to the number of people here at the same time. It’s much faster before eight am.
