The speedbit product “Download Accelerator Plus” has a somewhat checkered past. We’re talking adware and spyware.

It claims to have cleaned up its act, but you should be aware of this. It will work as advertised (although 400% is pushing credibility), and the ad and spy concerns may not trouble you, but there’s better about.
