I got _Edwardian Cooking: The Unofficial Downton Abbey Cookbook_ by Larry Edwards out of the library. Cute enough. The basic problem is that he fails to make it clear if these are actual recipes found at Highclere Castle or just recipes from the period. I haven’t tried any of the recipes yet but the mushrooms in port and the Scottish shortbread look pretty good. ---
