Both intriguing suggestions. Fellowes said in an interview awhile back that he doesn’t want to have any cameos of real-world famous people, though, as that irritates him in other historical dramas.
Another Downton Abbey Revisited special airs tonight on PBS (repeated on Aug. 11 and 14; check your local listings), again hosted by the annoyingly effervescent (to me) Angela Lansbury. The new season begins Jan. 5.
I’m not seeing this on my PBS station… Are you sure it’s not just a repeat of the special from last year that your local channel is airing?
It was listed as a new show, but we still have it on our DVR and haven’t watched it yet.
