Absent that explanation it seemed very odd to me that a name that was all over the media (and some of those news stories are even linked right here in an FQ thread) would be considered doxxing and earn a warning. The idea of “doxxing” simply does not apply in this case. Outside of a few narrow special exceptions (e.g. covert intel operatives) there is no legitimate reason I shouldn’t know the names of the people who work for me paid by my taxes. ---

As stated in this thread more than once, the shooter’s **home address** was included, which is not normally public knowledge for government employees. ETA: Ninja’d ---
