Among a handful of luminaries, Dr. Matrix is by far my favorite poster on this board–his knowledge of physics is unsurpassed. Now, sadly, he has been absorbed by the Borg collective known as “the Moderators.” Say it ain’t so! To keep this in GQ, let me ask this fact-based question: Dr. Matrix, what, um, facts motivated you to make the change? Can we still expect frequent participation? (Please don’t bury this in the Questions about SDMB.) ---

I’m quite accomplished in the fine art of ‘sucking up’, I’ve known quite a few things that ‘sucked’ in general, and, well, some other versions of sucking as well. Just remember what Eisenhower said. You get no more easy problems. By the time the problems get to you the easy ones have been handled.
