Thanks for the recipes! I’m going to give it a shot, or get one next time I’m in the city 🙂 (PS- I didn’t check the net, as I figured I’d get better info from the people in this thread. I’m pretty sure I can still use a search engine) ---

Listen, everyone…if DAVE0071 suddenly gets a, um, powerful urge to post naked pictures of himself in this forum, IT’S NOT MY FAULT, okay? I had nothing to do with it. ---

stuyguy: Somewhere on this very board, many moons ago, I posted about the same exact place where I used to get my fix. Yes, that place has the best Egg creams in all the world. And I know Drainy will back me up on the address of the joint even if I didn’t remember the name. I used to go there after eating spicy soft shell beef tacos at my favorite $5-stuffs-you-and-gets-you-a-beer Mexican joint **San Loco** , when it was actually two doors down (not across the street like it is now). Tanxz for the memories though! I can’t wait until I take Drainy there… * * * Yer pal, [Satan](http://www.members.tripod.com/jmspoofe/sdmb/satan.jpg) \*TIME ELAPSED SINCE I QUIT SMOKING: Six months, one week, two days, 3 hours, 46 minutes and 13 seconds. 7686 cigarettes not smoked, saving $960.78. Extra time with Drain Bead: 3 weeks, 5 days, 16 hours, 30 minutes. **I slept with a moderator!** \* [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/drainy-surprised-me-with-the-best-present-ever-real-chocolate-egg-creams/37281.md?page=1)
