I just got a chance to watch the latest episode of Drawn Together last night and I laughed my butt off. Given the three episodes aired so far, I think that something has clicked with the creators. This season is substantially better than almost every episode of Season 1 (which I enjoyed). They are really starting to parody classic _cartoons_ as well as the reality TV genre. Anyone else still watching? ---

I love the little throwaway scenes, like the hospital waiting rooms. ---

Personally, while I still enjoy the series I found the first season episodes better. ---

I also caught what I believe might have been an inside joke. After a scene involving a sting operation led by an overly specific SWAT team unit with an extremely long name patrolled entirely by quadripeligics, Spanky is heard to comment, “Did a retarded third-grader write this?” This may or may not be a reference to the fact that one of the writers on the show is assisted with coming up with gags by his (presumably non-retarded) 7-year-old son. ---

Speaking of Foxy, were her nipples always perma-erect? I didn’t watch that much of season 1, but I don’t recall that she always had her highbeams on. ---

Too much Foxy\*. Not enough Ling Ling. - Though I did appreciate it that the creators _finally_ decided to acknowledge that she’s supposed to be a mystery-solving cartoon character. You would never know this from the first season, except for a fleeting description of her when all the players were first introduced. All the others got to demonstrate their talents, skills or “jobs” all the time, but not her, despite her excessive screen time. ---
