Xandir is supposed to be Link from the Zelda games, but visually, he is based more on a character from a '90s cartoon called The Pirates of Dark Water. Do a Google search if you don’t believe me.

Ling Ling is the Pokemon called Pikachu in particular, and Wooldor Sockbat is indeed Spongebob.

Man, I wrote off this show from the ads, thinking it’d be pretty dumb, but I caught this episode and OMG, this thing was hilarious! The whole Xander having to kill himself multiple times because of the number of lives he had was inspired. Though the glory hole stuff was the best stuff :D.
