One from about a week ago, since it’s more interesting (and weirder) than any I’ve had the past few nights: I found a pimple on my left elbow, and squeezed it, and about an ounce of pimple-goo oozed out. There was so much that it left a deep hole in my elbow, and I could see the bones of my elbow joint. Well, I knew that was bad, and a definite infection risk, but I figured that having that hole full of pus was even worse. Then I saw another pimple on my right elbow, and the same thing happened, except this time the pus had black streaks in it and looked diseased. I woke up just as I was coming to the conclusion that I absolutely had to get to a doctor to get those looked at. Oddly, neither elbow hurt at all, though, nor were my arms impaired in any way. ---

I dreamed there was a knock on the door and the Baader Meinhof Group was there. Fortunately they only wanted to play, but soon my mother came home and I told them to hide in the closet. I went in later and there was a portal to Hell in the closet. I fell through and landed at the 8th circle, where I had an affair with Stalin, much to his wife’s disapproval. Ian Curtis was there and he disapproved too. I told my mother about the dream and she said “Get real. It’s the 21st century. You need to come out of the closet!”😉 ---

I also saw the devil coming into my room. He was about 7 feet tall and three feet wide and completely black with horns and I remembered a valuable religious lesson I’d learned–The devil cannot abide the name of the Lord. I said “God, God, Jesus Jesus!” and Ol’ Nick disappeared. All I could figure was while people were telling me I was going to the devil, he was coming for me. ---

I had a dream about the Adam West \*Batman \*TV show. It was a two-hour episode, with one hour the end of the first season and one hour the beginning of the second season. It was a big origin story for an arch-villain. Commissioner Gordon died (only time in the series somebody died!), and his son, who had been being groomed as his replacement, became a criminal mastermind, and the story showed how he collected all the accoutrement that became his trademark look (like the bright green spats and hat). ---

The other night I had a dream that an acquaintance from a running/drinking club and I started kissing. She’s pretty good looking, the kiss was pretty intense, and my wife was unaware of the encounter. ---

I dreamed I did a Citizen’s Arrest on Ben Kingsley in the lobby of a hotel. I think I know why: Edward Burns has been out and about doing publicity for his Mob City television show. And thinking about him led me to thinking about my disappointment with the movie of “A Sound of Thunder,” in which he appeared with…Ben Kingsley. Really, it was very unfair of my subconscious to blame Sir Ben for the failure of that movie. It was clearly the fault of the writers. Though Sir Ben’s hairdo was, admittedly, pretty wretched. ---

I am a math professor. I have this recurring dream where I’m back in high school, but somehow I still have my PhD. I’m there just to kill some time and to get my high school diploma which (in the dream) I never got. The dream is usually on the last few days of school, and I always wind up skipping the last day because there is something else I want to do. I don’t graduate and I don’t care. ---
