I think I like Christina Cole for Angua: [Christina Cole - IMDb](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1268047/) She is an excellent actress - I first noticed her in a Doctor Who episode ("The Shakespeare Code) and see her all the time now. Stephen Fry as the Dean? And Hughe Laurie as the Bursar? ---

I like the idea of Meryl Streep as Granny Weatherwax, although I think Emma Thompson might be better (think Nanny McPhee without the warts,etc.). Rincewind would be a young Dick Van Dyke. And the Librarian would have to be Manis, who played Clyde in Every Which Way But Loose and The Monkey in Cannonball Run. ---
