Dress Code

One employer, which was usually suit & tie, had Casual Day stickers on sale for the annual United Way campaign. Normally, they cost $1, but during the campaign, they were just 50 cents. One enterprising guy did the math on his annual dry-cleaning & tie costs, bought 200 stickers and didn’t wear a suit for a year.

They didn’t discount the stickers after that.

You may laugh, but one time at work, I had clocked off and changed into evening dress - dinner jacket etc - and was waiting for my ride when TSHTF and I had to dash off and sort it out. Had I been female, I would have been in a ball gown.
