I’ve posted the long version before so I’ll do the short one ----- a guy had his daughter run off with a biker. He had been in the Vets club all day drowning his sorrows and had just gotten in his car when I happened to be riding past. He floored it blocking the road and I had to lay it down or do an endo over him. I escaped basically unharmed (although the bike needed work I rode it away) and he admitted to the police and judge to trying to kill me. But it was the 70s and times were different and ------- I wish he had gotten at least a serious fine. But I survived and learned. Now-adays I can go years without a close call. But my trust for other riders and/or drivers is pretty much nil.
Sure it is, if you swerve across a double-yellow line. “Failure to control vehicle,” I think they’d call it. If you swerve away from a bee and into oncoming traffic, that would be all on you.
the driver of the car has been arrested and is charged with aggravated assault.

Oh, c’mon, they’re TOTALLY equivalent. If anything, the Mercury driver went easy on that churlish villain. It’s like last week, when a guy bumped RIGHT into me while passing me on the sidewalk. So I hacked him into tiny pieces with a cleaver.
Why? People who drive the speed limit around here get constantly harassed by other drivers who are so poor at managing their time that it must always be ten-over. I can understand how the aggravation can build to the point where a person could snap and do something nasty qpq. Some drivers are very adept at expressing their hostility through road language (the vehicle equivalent of body language). It gets old pretty quickly.
Looks like he worked long and hard to get there too.
William Crum sends Granbury motorcyclists to the ditch, not his first encounter with law enforcement
Where the fuck do you live? Are you sure you’re not in a basic cable drama?
Holy crap, why would they even allow that dick to drive a car?
That dude IS the person your buddies warned you about.
Unfortunately, there’s no
Are you a dick?
[] YES [] NO
on the driver’s license application form.
It might be worth noting that the paper from one town over from Granbury is leading their headline with the first and last name of the accused. He may already have a reputation.
Emphasis mine.
How do you lay a bike down?
And why would you do so? I ask because you will stop quicker using your brakes and keeping two rubber wheels on the road than you can by sliding sideways on metal.
Because sometimes its better to pull down your pants and slide on the ice than it is to remain upright and decapitate yourself.
I think this spiteful old fucker may finally be going down.
At that time I lived in Tulsa, Okla. ( 1944 to 1998 ) 54 of my 72 years not counting out of the area in the military.
Are you sure your not calling me a liar?
Did you read the blog entry?
Wreck is a matter of record.
You go contact the Tulsa Police department and prove that the wreck did not happen before you get to making insinuations.

[/QUOTE]maybe the camera makes it look different, but it would seem that guy was going way too fast for that road. He should have had time to stop safely.
I was not calling you a liar. Your history of drivers trying to intentionally harm you is well outside the norm.
No doubt in my mind this was an intentional act–no insurance protection for him! He pays his own defense costs and pays the judgment with no assistance from the insurance company. He is naked for the plaintiff wolves and I really hope he loses everything. If he’s really half as bad as he comes off in the video, he needs to be institutionalized for his own good, and for that of the community.
Unfortunately, that probably means nothing for the victims. ICU is damn expensive.
If the rider has uninsured motorist coverage, that should cover it.
