That story doesn’t give much detail, but it sounds like he hit 187 _during_ the chase; that wasn’t the reason they initially tried to pull him over. Suzuki Hayabusa bike does 185 and costs around $14k. Lots more bang for your buck ---

at least we know how he afforded the car There was a retired guy who ran drugs up to Midwest in a pickup. He did it for 10 years before he was caught at 87. Clint Eastwood made a movie of the story, ---
