My Maserati does 193. I lost control and wrapped it around a tree. Doesn’t quite have the same flow. ---

This might be news on I-95 in Raleigh-Durham, but it sounds like an ordinary day on I-95 here in Miami. Pet peeve: People who post local news links and don’t tell us where the event occurred. Had to go check out the website, bypass their adblock-whiner, then hunt for some hint of where “WRAL”'s catchment area is. ---

Audi claims a top speed of 190, but it obviously only does 187. Maybe he can get his money back. 😆 ---

I do not think it is impossible to elude the cops in a high-speed chase, but, realistically, how many random drug dealers have heavily modified (but not obviously drawing attention) cars that can do it and the urban racing skills to match? I always figured the trick was to avoid attention, and, if you got busted, to go along quietly and leave it up to the syndicate/cartel/gang to put in the fix. ---
