# Driver's Do the Darndest Things...

People where I live drive like spit. Today was a really good one. I was driving down a back road, in a fairly populated place on the way back to work. I was driving the speed limit. 25 miles per hour in this case. An old woman comes up behind me and rides my arse for at least a mile. I come up to a stop sign and stop. Big suprise there. I look both ways before going. And she honks at me! I flipped the old granny off and laughed the rest of the way. If she was in such a hurry, why not pass me?

The other day I was on the way home from work and got onto a bridge. Traffic merges onto the bridge and into the two existing lanes from the right. I moved over to the left lane so they could merge without a problem. I’m looking to get back over to the right but am being paced by a car in that lane. I slow down maybe 2 mph, still 5 over the limit to get over and a huge red truck speeds up next to me on the right and literally throws itself into my lane. Nearly killing me and everyone behind me. If I weren’t a better driver I would have gone over the edge and into the icy river below. I called the cops with his license plate number once I got home and the woman didn’t even give a shit. I told her if I hadn’t been a better driver she’d be answering a DOA call and she didn’t give a shit.

People, aren’t they amazing?

I do understand what you’re saying here.

It’s just that “amazing” is not…um, quite exactly the word I’d use. 😃
